Banned outfit commanders among 21 nabbed, weapons seized in Jamrood

PESHAWAR (92 News) – Security Forces have on Sunday apprehended 21 suspects including two banned organization commanders and seized huge cache of weapons and communication system during a raid in Khyber Agency’s Tehsil Jamrood. As per details, terrorist had attacked the checkpost of security forces in Khyber Agency’s Tehsil Jamrood and martyred a security force personnel after which security forces imposed curfew and launched an operation in the area. During the operation conducted jointly by the security forces and political administration, huge cache of weapons and communication system was seized, while 21 suspects including two banned organization commanders and several foreigners were also detained. The recovered weapons include 13 hand grenades, 35 Kalashnikovs, Three Heavy Machine Guns, 15 Rockets, 13 pistols, thousands of rounds and wine and hashish. Foreign wireless handsets, modern communication system devices were also recovered.
