BAP estranged members submit no-confidence motion against CM Jam Kamal

QUETTA (92 News) – The estranged members of the Balochistan Awami Party (BAP) on Monday submitted a no-confidence against Chief Minister Jam Kamal, demanding his immediate resignation.

Zahoor Buledi said that a majority of members had expressed no-confidence against the chief minister who should resign immediately.

He demanded that the speaker would summon the session at the earliest and they would present the no-confidence move.

Meanwhile, the joint opposition held a meeting to discuss the matter. On the other hand, Balochistan Chief Minister Jam Kamal held a long meeting with BAP chief organizer Jan Muhammad Jamali who are met party founder Syed Ahmed Hashmi.

The no-confidence motion bore the signatures of 13 estranged members. In the 65-member House, Chief Minister Jam Kamal enjoys the support of 26 MPAs. The estranged group has 14 members. The 24 members of the opposition have significant importance now.

The Balochistan governor is likely to call the assembly session on October 19.
