Barkhan incident takes new twist as woman declared dead recovered alive

QUETTA (92 News) - The Barkhan incident took a new twist when the Levies authorities recovered the women who was declared dead alive.

Earlier, the authorities arrested Provincial Minister Sardar Abdur Rehman Khaitran. The Levies recovered the woman with her four sons. The pictures of the recovered family were shared on the social media.

Khan Muhammad Marri has confirmed the recovery of his wife and children. He said that the two bodies recovered from the well were of his son who were killed by Sardar Abdur Rehman Khaitran.

On the other hand, DNAs of the bodies recovered from the well have been sent to the forensic laboratory for tests. Police Surgeon Ayesha said that the age of the deceased girl is stated to be 17-18. "The victim was shot in the head thrice after being raped," she disclosed.

Meanwhile, Murri tribesmen continued their sit-in for the third day outside the CM House in Quetta. The protesters said that they would continue their protest till formation of the judicial commission and registration of the case against the provincial minister.
