Barrister Shahzad Elahi appointed as Attorney General of Pakistan

ISLAMABAD (92 News) - President Arif Alvi on Thursday approved the appointment of Barrister Shahzad Elahi as Attorney General of Pakistan.

The Law Ministry has issued a notification in this regard. Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif had sent the advice to appoint Shahzad Elahi as AGP to President Arif Alvi.

The appointment was approved under Article 100 of the constitution and Rules of Business.

Barrister Shahzad Ata Elahi was appointed as AGP after Mansoor Usman Awan did not assume his office.
