Basic reason for corruption is lack of rule of law, says PM Imran Khan

ISLAMABAD (92 News) – Prime Minister Imran Khan has said that the basic reason for corruption is lack of rule of law in the country.

Addressing a ceremony at Islamic Policy Research Institute on Monday, he said that democracy stabilizes where there is the rule of law. "The West has not given the credit to Pakistan despite sacrificing 80,000 lives," he added.

He said that it was time to make the recognition of the country.

The prime minister also condemned the atrocities in Indian Illegally Occupied Jammu and Kashmir (IIOJ&K).

He said that the solution to all problems is in the rule of law and the corrupt would come into the power if does not happen. "The country moves downward if the law is not implemented," he added.
