Be careful as coronavirus spreading at alarming level: PM Imran Khan

Addressing a meeting of the spokespersons on Friday, he said that the opposition will not be granted an NRO no matter how much public meetings it holds. "A leader while sitting in London inviting the people to meetings," he said.

The prime minister said that the opposition's meeting is anti-people. "The meetings will cause a damage to the masses and economy, not the government," he said.

He said that economic indicators are improving with each passing day. "Encouraging statistics are being received from the textile industry," he said, urging his economic team to utilize all state resources for the improvement of the industry.

He said that the steps taken by the government had reduced inflation. "No one can think of accepting Israel until Palestinians are granted their right," he said.

PM Imran Khan said that the people are being left at the mercy of coronavirus to conceal the stolen money. "The PDM should stop holding public meetings," he maintained.

Federal Minister Hammad Azhar briefed the spokespersons about overall economic situation.

Special Assistant to Prime Minister on Overseas Pakistanis briefed the meeting about the matters of overseas Pakistan.
