BREDA, The Netherlands (92 News) – Belgium defeated Pakistan by 4-2 in the Champions Trophy Hockey on Friday. Green Shirts started the match on a high note and maintained supremacy in the first quarter. In the second quarter, Belgium tried to stage a comeback and attacked the goalpost repeatedly. In the third quarter, Belgium scored a goal to equalize the game. In the 38th minute, Aleem Khan of Pakistan pushed another goal to gain an upper hand. Belgium displayed an excellent game by scoring three goals in the last quarter. Green Shirts who notched up a lone victory against Argentina 4-1 will now play for the fifth position.
