Bhakkar police resolve mystery of quadruple murder

BHAKKAR (92 News) – The police claimed to have resolved the mystery of the quadruple murder on Tuesday. On suspicion, the police arrested Shakeel who confessed to have set two women and two children on fire. Addressing a press conference, the Kalurkot DSP said that the accused had set his sister-in-law Sharman on fire to take revenge of the divorce of his sister Saadia. He said that the fire also engulfed his niece Komal and nephew Muhammad Ali while his divorced sister burnt alive in an attempt to save the kids. The DSP said that the Saadia was married to Naseer as ‘watta satta’, but Naseer divorced his sister. “The accused also asked his brother to divorce his wife. But he did not listen to him,” he said. After his confession, the police have registered a case against the accused after arresting him.
