MADINA MUNAWWARA (92 News) – King Salman bin Abdulaziz Al Saud, the Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques, approved the performing of Taraweeh prayer in Masjid-i-Nabvi (PBUH) during Ramazanul Mubarak.

The holy 'masjid' will be closed after a half hour of the Taraweeh and will be reopened before two hours of the Fajr prayers.

As many as 60,000 faithful will be allowed to enter the mosque at a time. Ramazanul Mubarak is expected to start from April 14. Worshippers will be allowed to pray in the masjid, outside and on the roof. It will be regularly inspected.

Saudi Arabia had temporarily suspended Umrah for citizens and residents due to the coronavirus outbreak.
