Bilawal asks ECP to hold general elections within 90 days

MALIR (92 News) - PPP chairman Bilawal Bhutto has asked the Election Commission of Pakistan (ECP) to conduct the general elections within 90 days.

Talking to the media on Friday, he said that it was unconstitutional to stop the development funds before the election schedule.

He demanded that the ECP should lift the ban on the uplift schemes and flood relief funds. "Why is the double policy in vogue in the country?" he queried.

Bilawal Bhutto said that the ban imposed on Sindh should also be imposed on the federation and Punjab. "No PPP leader is on the ECL. The PPP was neither afraid of the NAB in the past nor it is afraid of the NAB today," he maintained.

He demanded that the accused involved in the May 9 incidents should be sentenced.
