ISLAMABAD (92 News) – PPP chairman Bilawal Bhutto has refused to accept today's legislation, saying that the legislation was done at the gunpoint.

Talking to the media after the joint session on Wednesday, he accused the government of bringing the MNAs to the National Assembly through police. "Today the EVM Law has not been formed, but an NRO has been given to Indian spy Kulbhushan Jadhav," he added.

The PPP chairman said that the government could not complete the required numbers despite all tactics. "Each institution should do its own work. Only the parliament can decide the fate of the nation and the country," he declared.

Earlier addressing the joint session of the parliament, Bilawal Bhutto announced to move court over the approval of the electronic voting machine.

"If the objections of the opposition are not accepted, the opposition will not accept the next election. The next election will not be controversial if the legislation is done jointly," he added.

The PPP chairman said that the opposition had also supported the overseas Pakistanis' right to vote. "We do not accept the vote cast for Lahore from Washington, but it emerges from Sibi," he maintained.

He said that the PPP does not accept the government's electoral reforms and stands with the Election Commission of Pakistan. "The ECP has rejected the EVM and raised serious 37 objections against it," he added.

Bilawal Bhutto was of the view that an attempt is being made to rig the next elections and the PPP is against this black law. "The PPP will support the government if it will talk about giving the relief to the masses," he said.
