ISLAMABAD (92 News) – PPP chairman Bilawal Bhutto once again asked Prime Minister Imran Khan to reconsider his batting line-up. Speaking on the floor of the National Assembly on Monday, he said that the opposition was ready to work with the Centre in the fight against coronavirus. “We are ready to sit with the government. But the government should send sensible people to us,” he said. Bilawal Bhutto said that according to the World Health Organization (WHO), much more healthcare workers are being affected by the coronavirus as compared to other countries. “The health budget is insufficient for the provinces.” He said that the health and lives of the people are at risk. “We will have to avoid political point-scoring. Wrong statements are issued by the Sindh PTI leaders,” he said. The PPP chairman said that the provincial governments have saved the country from being Wuhan and Italy. “Patients and deaths will increase if the lockdown is further eased,” he maintained. PML-N leader Khawaja Asif prayed for the recovery of Speaker Asad Qaisar who is suffering from coronavirus. “Today we are missing Speaker Asad Qaisar. It would have been better had the prime minister present in the House,” he said. The opposition members left the House when Murad Saeed started speaking. At this, Murad Saeed said that it was the habit of the opposition to run away after making speeches. He criticized the Sindh government for lack of medical facilities in the province.
