Bilawal Bhutto phones Maryam Nawaz, condemns arrest of Capt (retd) Safdar

KARACHI (92 News) – PPP chairman Bilawal Bhutto Zardari phoned PML-N vice-president Maryam Nawaz on Monday.

He strongly condemned the arrest of Capt (retd) Safdar, saying he was shocked to hear about the arrest. "The PPP and the Sindh government were not informed about the arrest," he added.

The PPP chairman said that directions have been issued to complete the investigations. "I have asked the Sindh government to take all steps to ensure the release of Capt (retd) Safdar," he added.
