Bilawal Bhutto rejects govt claims about economic progress

KARACHI (92 News) – PPP chairman Bilawal Bhutto has rejected the tall claims of the government regarding economic progress in the country.

In a statement on Saturday, he said that the poverty rate has reached at 27 percent in Khyber Pakhtunkhwa. "Those making false claims of progress should be ashamed after leaving the masses on the mercy of inflation," he maintained.

Bilawal Bhutto said that the PPP would counter anti-people policies of Imran Khan at each forum. "We reject the government's plan to impose of 10 percent tax on retired government employees in the next budget," he said.

He said that Imran Khan causing unusual economic destruction has no political future.
