July 25, 2020
ISLAMABAD (92 News) – Pakistan People's Party (PPP) chairman Bilawal Bhutto Zardari has termed 25th July as a black day in the history of Pakistan. Addressing a press conference in Islamabad on Saturday, has said that the people know 'selection' was done instead of election on this day. "The selected prime minister has caused loss to the extent never done in the past. If he stays anymore, the country’s economy, democracy and society will suffer more losses," he said. The PPP chairman said that now the entire Pakistan and the people of Pakistan are on one page that this selected Imran Khan has to go. "He has destroyed the economy, politics and democracy of the country." He said that Imran Khan was brought on the slogan of corruption-free Pakistan and PTI’s election manifesto was that corruption will be eliminated in 90 days. "Now ask Transparency International which is saying that corruption in PTI government is unprecedented and this is the most corrupt government in this history of Pakistan." Bilawal Bhutto said that Imran Khan had said that he will not give relief (NRO) to anyone but he introduced the biggest amnesty for corrupt people. "There is corruption in every project like BRT, Malam Jabba, Billion Tree Tsunami etc. Imran Khan has given NRO to every kind of thief from sugar to wheat and from oil to Kulbhushan Jadhav," he maintained. He claimed that the PPP had never compromised on national interest, human rights and international laws. "This government did not contact the opposition because this is an apolitical and puppet government. For important legislations, consensus has to be built." The PPP chairman said that the government is bringing fake JITs against them. "The PML-N is also playing its role as opposition and the Leader of Opposition will preside over the APC of opposition parties after EidulAzha." He said that he had a very detailed discussion with Akhtar Mengal about the issues being faced by Pakistan and will ask Shehbaz Sharif to invite Akhtar Mengal to formally join the opposition.
