Bilawal Bhutto says government got PTIMF budget approved illegally

ISLAMABAD (92 News) – PPP chairman Bilawal Bhutto has termed the approval of the budget through the voice vote, saying he had challenged the voice vote but the speaker ignored him.

 Addressing a press conference after the budget session on Tuesday, he said that it was duty of the speaker to conduct recounting after being challenged.

He said that the PPP would go the people to expose the budget. "The government illegally got approved the PTIMF budget."

He said that the speaker had stolen the right of the vote. "I have written a letter to the speaker. It will be an extreme step if he did not respond," he added.

The PPP chairman said that whatever happened in the assembly session established a wrong tradition. "The assembly was formed on the basis of rigging and now the budget was also approved on the basis of rigging," he added.

He reiterated his demand to bring a no-confidence motion against the speaker.
