Bilawal Bhutto terms IHC verdict a relief for Sharif family

KARACHI (92 News) – PPP chairman Bilawal Bhutto has termed the verdict of the Islamabad High Court a relief for the Sharif family. Reacting to the IHC verdict on Wednesday, he said that the Sharif family was going through difficult time after the death of Begum Kulsoom Nawaz. He said that no one could give opinion on the legal points of the verdict. “There are phases of appeals against the IHC verdict. Rule of law and independence of judiciary are mandatory for forwarding the democratic system,” he maintained. The PPP chairman said that the PPP had been at the front during the struggle for the independence of judiciary. “The PPP never insulted courts even after verdicts against it,” he added. Bilawal Bhutto said that courts are not part of any political revenge against anyone.
