Bilawal visits Wali Bagh, meets ANP leadership

CHARSADDA (92 News) - A delegation of the Pakistan People’s Party (PPP) led by Bilawal Bhutto on Sunday visited Wali Bagh and met with the leadership of the ANP.

The PPP delegation comprises of Syed Murad Ali Shah, Nayyar Bukhari, Sherry Rehman and Farhatullah Babar. ANP leaders Ameer Haider Hoti, Mian Iftikhar, Ghulam Ahmad Bilour and Aimal Wali received the PPP delegation.

The PPP leaders offered condolence to the ANP leadership over the demise of Begum Naseem Wali Khan. The leaders of two parties also discussed political situation of the country and their future line of action.

A day earlier, PDM chairman Maulana Fazalur Rehman has announced protest demonstrations to give a tough time to the government.

Talking to the media after a meeting of PDM leaders on Saturday, he said that a protest demonstration would be staged in Swat on July 4, in Karachi on July 29 and in Islamabad on August 14. He said that the government had no ability to counter any challenge.

The PDM chairman demanded that a joint session of the parliament should be called on the Afghanistan situation. He also rejected the proposal of the voting machine and an ordinance of the electoral reforms.

Maulana Fazalur Rehman said that the government should take action against the government functionaries involved in corruption.

He said that the government should clarify the rumours about giving air bases to the US.
