Bilawal, Blinken resolve to further strengthen bilateral ties

ISLAMABAD (92 News) - Foreign Minister Bilawal Bhutto held a telephonic conversation with US Secretary of State Antony Blinken on Wednesday.

In a message on Twitter, he said: "We reaffirmed our mutual desire to further strengthen bilateral ties by expanding our engagement in trade, energy, health and security marking 75 years of our relationship. We must increase people-to-people & business-to-business contacts."

He said that they also discussed need for continuous engagement with the interim Afghanistan government to deal with humanitarian crisis.

He said that he had the requested the US counterpart to ease issuance of visas for Pakistani nationals.
