ISLAMABAD (92 News) - Pakistan People’s Party (PPP) Chairman Bilawal Bhutto has demanded resignation from President Arif Alvi over sending a fake reference against Supreme Court Judge Justice Qazi Faez Isa on Friday.

Addressing a press conference along with other PPP leaders, Bilawal Bhutto said that other than the president, the law minister should also resign after the president sent a ‘fake’ reference against Justice Qazi Faez Isa.

Responding to the PPP’s victory in NA-249 by-election, the PPP chairman expressed his commitment to fulfill the expectations of Karachi's people. "The people of Karachi have rejected the selected government, adding that Pakistan’s politics is moving towards democratic forces," he added.

Bilawal Bhutto said that the people of Karachi had given them a historic victory and proved that they were not with the government. "The people have sent a message to the incompetent government," he mentioned.

The PPP chairman termed PML-N vice president Maryam Nawaz’s statement as irresponsible, adding that that everyone knows which party committed the most fraud in the history of the country.

"One arrow hunted two, one is bat and another lion in NA-249.In NA-249. "Those who were already selected, how can they blame others," he questioned.

He further explained that both Shahid Khaqan Abbasi and Muhammad Zubair were at the DRO office to collect election results. “I would have called Shehbaz Sharif if PML-N secured victory from the constituency,” Bilawal said.
