Bilawal for preparing PPP organizations to play active role in general elections

KARACHI (92 News) - Sindh former chief minister Syed Murad Ali Shah called on Pakistan People's Party (PPP) chairman Bilawal Bhutto Zardari on Tuesday.

During the meeting, they discussed political situation as well as organizational matters.

Bilawal Bhutto ordered the party leaders to prepare the main and subsidiary organizations to play an active and effective role in the general elections. "Workers should start door-to-door campaign for success in the general elections. The PPP will soon start a countrywide election campaign with its public manifesto," he declared.

Murad Ali Shah said: "Owing to the fear of possible increase in the petrol price, we gave a subsidy to public transport so that the fares should not increase during the worst inflation. But the caretaker government has stopped the subsidy."

He said that the PPP had increased the funds of the hospitals to mitigate problems of the patients.

Meanwhile, PPP Sindh deputy general secretary Nasir Shah also met him.
