ISLAMABAD (92 News) - While reacting to Bilawal Bhutto’s interview to international news corporation, PML-N leader Muhammad Zubair termed that PPP Chairman Bilawal Bhutto has his own opinion but former premier Nawaz Sharif said on base of facts.

Talking to the 92 News, Bilawal Bhutto has his own party, he has right to keep different opinion, whatever Nawaz Sharif said in his speech during PDM rally was not a story but base on facts.

On the other hand, PML-N spokesperson Marriyum Auranzeb said that Bilawal Bhutto Zardari’s remarks regarding the speech of Nawaz Sharif during PDM Gujranwala rally as his personal point of view.

The PML-N spokesperson stated that whatever Nawaz Sharif had said in his speech during PDM rally was based on facts. Bilawal Bhutto’s statement shows his own point of view, she told.

The reaction came after Bilawal Bhutto said that he was shocked to hear ex-PM Nawaz Sharif directly accusing military leadership during his speech in PDM Gujranwala rally.

Earlier, during an interview with BBC, the PPP chairman said that the naming of the Army leadership is a personal decision of PML-N Quaid Nawaz Sharif.

He also said that they are waiting when Nawaz Sharif will present the proofs of the allegations. "The PML-N had not named any personality at the time of the preparation of the Pakistan Democratic Movement (PDM) agenda," he said.

The PPP chairman said it was decided in the All-Parties Conference (APC) that the establishment, not a single institution, would be named during the protest movement. "I was shocked when I heard the names of the Army leaders directly during the speech of Nawaz Sharif. Usually, we do not utter such words in the meetings. But Nawaz Sharif has his own party. Neither I can control him how he talks nor he can control me how I talk," he disclosed.

During the Gujranwala public meeting, Nawaz Sharif had first time levelled allegations against the Army leadership and accused them of playing a direct role in his ouster.

Bilawal Bhutto Zardari said that the PDM is an alliance of several parties. "Our agenda is clear in the resolution passed during the APC," he said.

He said that Nawaz Sharif is the three-time prime minister of the country. "I believe he would have not named the Army leadership without clear and concrete proofs," he added.

The PPP chairman said that he could not personally meet Nawaz Sharif due to the COVID-19 pandemic, which was mandatory to discuss the matter.

He said that a single person cannot be held responsible for bringing Imran Khan into the power.

To a question that the PML-N has taken a clear stance by levelling the allegation of rigging in the 2018 elections but the PPP, in commentators' opinion, is not talking clearly during the meetings, Bilawal Bhutto termed this impression wrong.

He said that PPP's struggle for the civil rule and strong democracy is long and spans over three generations. "I will continue this struggle for their restoration in a democratic way," he added.
