Bilawal hopes federal govt will provide relief for rain-hit victims of Karachi

KARACHI (92 News) - PPP Chairman Bilawal Bhutto Zardari on Friday hoped that the federal government will provide relief to the people badly affected by recent disastrous spell of monsoon rain in Karachi. Addressing a news conference, Bilawal Bhutto expressed the hope that Prime Minister Imran Khan will announce a comprehensive reconstruction and rehabilitation package for Karachi and Sindh when he arrives in the city tomorrow. "Cleaning of only three drains will not be solve the all problems. The decision to increase the price of electricity in Karachi should be withdrawn," he demanded. The PPP chairman appreciated the federal government for showing seriousness as regards to investing in Karachi for its infrastructure and development.  "I hope that PM Imran Khan, during his Karachi visit will announce comprehensive relief package for the Karachiities, he added. "This is really good gesture for the province that the whole country stand with us because Chief of Army Staff (COAS) Gen Qamar Javed Bajwa also paid visit to Karachi," Bilawal Bhutto further maintained.
