ISLAMABAD (92 News) – Minister for Information Fawad Chaudhry has termed Pakistan People’s Party (PPP) Chairman Bilawal Bhutto Zardari’s meeting with former premier Nawaz Sharif as ‘U Turn of the Century’. Fawad Chaudhry commented on following to the meeting of Bilawal Bhutto with Nawaz Sharif. He said that the meeting held between the PPP chairman and Pakistan Muslim League-N (PML-N) quid as ‘U-turn of the century’. Nawaz should be provided medical treatment of his choice: Bilawal
Earlier today, PPP chairman Bilawal Bhutto has said that the people who are talking about the NRO are conspiring against former prime minister Nawaz Sharif. Talking to the media after meeting Nawaz Sharif outside Kot Lakhpat Jail on Monday, he said that he had come to inquire after the health of Nawaz Sharif. “Today is a historic day for me.” He said that Nawaz Sharif is standing on principles. “Nawaz Sharif said he has become ideological. He does not seem to be comprising on the situation. We are not under pressure to strike a deal,” he said. The PPP chairman said that Nawaz Sharif should be provided the medical treatment of his choice. He said that he does not want Prime Minister Imran Khan should see this time. “I do not think Maryam Nawaz has become silent. She issues statements occasionally,” he said. Bilawal Bhutto said that former president Asif Zardari was also detained in the same jail and later he was acquitted in all cases. “Three-time prime minister of the country has been imprisoned in jail,” he said.He said that depriving a heart patient of treatment is torture. “Nawaz Sharif and Benzir Bhutto had signed the Charter of Democracy and we should review it. We should also discuss the current situation,” he said.
