Bilawal thanks COAS for taking prompt notice of Karachi incident

KARACHI (92 News) – Pakistan Peoples’ Party (PPP) Chairman Bilawal Bhutto Zardari thanked Chief of Army Staff (COAS) General Qamar Javed Bajwa for taking prompt notice of Karachi police incident.

Bilawal thanked during the telephonic conversations with COAS Bajwa. Both the leaders discussed the Karachi incident and current situation of the city during telephone call.

According to the PPP twitter handle, during the telephonic conversation, the PPP chairman expressed his appreciation to the COAS for taking prompt notice of the Karachi incident and his assurance of conducting a transparent inquiry on the incident.

Earlier, COAS Qamar Javed Bajwa has taken notice of the Karachi incident, said a press release issued by the ISPR. The COAS directed the Corps Commander Karachi to know the facts and prepare a report on the matter.

Earlier, COAS General Qamar Bajwa phoned PPP chairman Bilawal Bhutto and discussed the Karachi situation with him.

The PPP chairman thanked the COAS for announcing a fair inquiry into the matter.

Bilawal Bhutto had appealed the COAS to take notice of the Karachi incident.
