ISLAMABAD (92 News) – The bill granting Indian terrorist Kulbhushan Jadhav the right to appeal was presented in the National Assembly. Adviser to Prime Minister on Parliamentary Affairs Babar Awan presented the International Court of Justice (ICJ) Review Ordinance 2020 . The opposition had accused the government of benefiting Kulbhushan Jadhav through the ordinance. On July 23, the bill could not be presented in the House despite being on the agenda. The federal government had faced resistance before submitting the ordinance regarding appeal of Indian RAW spy Kulbhushan Jadhav to the International Court of Justice. Addressing the House, Pakistan Peoples’ Party (PPP) chairman Bilawal Bhutto Zardari said that the PTI government is giving National Reconciliation Ordinance (NRO) to Indian spy despite his confession. “Giving NRO to Kulbhushan is part of this agenda. Our conscience does not satisfy,” Bilawal Bhutto said while pointed out the quorum and the opposition walked out of the lower house. Earlier, the Ministry of Law and Justice moved IHC for appointment of legal representative for Indian RAW spy Kulbhushan Jadhav. According to details, the federal government filed an application to meet requirements of the fair trial. It has been requested to appoint a legal representative for Kulbhushan Jadhav in the national interest. The government side has filed the petition under the Presidential Ordinance.
