Blast injures five in Peshawar; explosive material seized

PESHAWAR (92 News) – At least five people were injured in a huge explosion in the provincial capital’s Ring Road area near MMC hospital on Friday. As per details, the explosion took place near MMC hospital in Peshawar’s Ring Road area. Following the blast, police and rescue officials reached the spot and shifted the injured people to hospital for medical assistance. The nature of the blast is still not confirmed till now and the police are investigating the matter. The reason of the blast could not be ascertained yet.     On the other hand, police and intelligence agencies have foiled a terrorism bid in Peshawar by arresting two terrorists and recovering huge cache of explosive and weapons. The recovered material include bomb, pistol, detonators, fuse, batteries and other items. According to police, arrested terrorists namely Razim Khan and Sher Khan were planning to target important personalities, places and media houses.
