Blast martyrs three FC personnel, injures one in South Waziristan

PESHAWAR (92 News) – A landmine blast in South Waziristan’s Taway Khala area on Monday martyred at least three Frontier Constabulary (FC) personnel and injured another. The incident took place when a vehicle of the Frontier Corps (FC) was hit by a landmine blast in Taway Khala area in South Waziristan, the country's tribal region bordering Afghanistan. The blast destroyed the vehicle completely and killed three FC personnel on board on the spot and injuring another. The vehicle of the security personnel came under attack when they were moving from one check post to another one. Rescue teams and personnel of security forces rushed to the site and shifted the bodies to a military hospital. Security forces have cordoned off the area and launched a search operation. Prime Minister Nawaz Sharif has strongly condemned the incident and extended his heartfelt condolences to the bereaved families of the martyrs and prayed for eternal peace of their departed souls. The prime minister said that Pakistan has defeated the monster of terrorism by breaking the back of terrorists' network and will eliminate their remains very soon.
