Blast outside Kabul's military airport, multiple casualties

KABUL (92 News) – Several civilians were killed and injured in an explosion outside the military airport in Kabul.

Spokesman Abdul Nafee Thakur said that "this morning there was an explosion outside Kabul's military airport in which many civilians were killed and injured." The investigation into the explosion is going on.

Locals said that around 8 am, a loud explosion was heard from the area of the airport which is in military use. He said that the security forces have sealed the area and all the roads have been closed.

It should be remembered that the Taliban took control of Kabul in August 2021, after which ISIS fighters have claimed responsibility for most of the explosions in Afghanistan.
