LAHORE (92 News) - Visually impaired persons continued their protest demanding the government to fulfill its promises of regularization of service for the fourth consecutive day on Thursday. As per reports, the blind persons staged a sit-in on the metro-bus route, due to which the service was partially suspended in the city. The protesters said that they won't go back until the acceptance of their demands. "The Punjab government has neither assured them of regularization of jobs nor issued any notification in this regard," they said. Earlier on Wednesday, the protesters had ended their protest after talks with Punjab Law Minister Rana Sanaullah, but later rejected the minister's assurances as he did not assure them of regularization of jobs.
