LAHORE (92 News) – Blind persons ended their protest after successful talks with the government on Wednesday. The blind protesters had staged a sit-in on the Metro Bus track to press for their jobs, suspending traffic. They also chanted slogans against the government. They also organized a Darud-o-Salam Mehfil during the sit-in. Opposition Leader in the Punjab Assembly Mahmoodur Rasheed reached the place with food to express solidarity with the protesters. Lahore CCPO Amin Vains and Deputy Commissioner Sameer Ahmed held talks with the protesters. A committee will be formed, which will meet on Friday.
