Blood of martyrs will not go waste, says Dr Tahirul Qadri

LAHORE (92 News) – Pakistan Awami Tehreek (PAT) chairman Dr Tahirul Qadri has said that the Nawaz rule is a threat to the solidarity of the country. Addressing the participants of the rallies in 77 cities through a video link on Saturday, he said: “Blood for blood. We will not accept anything less than ‘Qisas’ (compensation).” He said that their movement would not stop till the ‘Qisas’ for the martyrs of the Model Town tragedy. Dr Tahirul Qadri said that they could exact the revenge for the martyrs within seven days, but did not want to disrupt peace by taking the law in their hands. “Nawaz Sharif himself should have spoken in response to the statement of Modi,” he added. He said that the blood of the martyrs would not go waste. The PAT chairman said that the doors of justice had been closed. He said that India had invested on Nawaz Sharif for four years and now India was fighting to save his rule. He said that Punjab was at number one in kidnap for ransom and other crimes, but the assemblies were silent. The PAT chief said that the first phase of the movement would end on August 28 and he would announce the future course of action afterwards. Earlier addressing the workers in Faisalabad, AML chief Sheikh Rashid said that Achakzai and Ch Nisar had made speeches in the National Assembly on the order of Prime Minister Nawaz Sharif. He said that the rulers took the nation as fool. “Nawaz and Modi changed their turbans,” he said. The AML chief said that the nation had recognized Nawaz Sharif. He said that the people were selling their organs out of poverty. He said that Pakistan and Nawaz Sharif could not go side by side. He asked the people come out against the Gang of Five. Workers took out rallies in different cities. Hundreds of people participated in the rally taken out in Faisalabad. They also staged a sit-in at Ghanta Ghar Chowk. Hundreds of workers took out a rally at Charing Cross on the Mall Road.
