RAWALPINDI (92 News) – The key progress has been surfaced in the murder case of JUI-S chief Maulana Samiul Haq during the police investigation. As per details garnered, the evidences have been collected including the fingerprints of three separate individuals and a bloodstained kurta from the murder scene of Maulana Samiul Haq. The investigators also believe that the fingerprints collected from the room will help trace the number of persons who were present at the crime spot. Police have rounded up three suspects involved in the murder of JUI-S chief and arrested suspects become six. The suspects have been shifted to a safe cell under strict security and are being grilled. The suspects were taken into custody with the help of Sami’s mobile phone data and geofencing of the private housing society where Sami was stabbed to death on November 2. He was 80. Hamid ul Haq, son of Maulana Samiul Haq, said his father was unwell and taking rest at home when he came under the attack. He said Maulana Sami ul Haq’s driver and gunman were away when he was stabbed and added that when one of his servants returned he saw his father lying in a pool of blood.
