BNP-M decides to continue support government

ISLAMABAD (92 News) – Balochistan National Party Mengal (BNP-M) on Thursday decided to continue support the incumbent government. It was decided during meeting of government’s dialogue committee with delegation of BNP-M. The government delegation held discussions over reservations showed by the coalition political party. Legislation related to missing persons and Gwadar was discussed during the meeting. The federal government assured legislation on Gwadar. A government delegation also said that 42 missing persons were recovered during the last ten days. In the next two weeks, more than 500 missing persons will be recovered. The dialogue committee assured maximum coordination by the Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) led federal government to BNP-M including the resolution of issues regarding the missing persons and miseries of Balochistan people. According to the sources, the BNP-M presented further amendments in the Gwadar Port Authority Ordinance 2002. The BNP-M also demanded that 95 per cent of the labor and 50 per cent of skilled labor in Godar Port should belong to Balochistan. They also demanded that the non-locals should not be given the permanent address in their ID cards of Gawadar and the right to vote. Meanwhile, the government has also decided to amend the Gwadar Port Authority Ordinance 2002 on the demand of BNP Mengal. It was also reported that the government side was represented by Jahangir Tareen, Pervez Khattak, Farogh Naseem and Azam Swati, whereas, the BNP delegation was led by Jahanzeb Jamaldini.
