Boat of rulers is about to sink, claims Maulana Fazl

PESHAWAR (92 News) – Jamiat Ulema-e-Islam-F (JUI-F) chief Maulana Fazlur Rehman has claimed that the boat of rulers is about to sink on Sunday. Addressing to Peshawar gathering, the JUI-F chief said that the efforts would continue to send the illegitimate government packing. He also said that the rulers have turned Peshawar into ruins. Fazlur Rehman said that the opposition’s sit-in has made the rulers worried, adding that the increasing inflation has made the life of the common man miserable. The JUI-F chief said that the current government has taken more loans than the total loans taken by all the previous governments, adding that the emergency loans were being taken from the Asian Development Bank (ADB). He further said that the government has sold Kashmir, adding that the traitors cannot be allowed to rule the country. “Pakistan’s foreign policy has completely failed,” Fazl mentioned. Earlier, Maulana Fazlur Rehman has termed that the matter of army chief is sensitive and the Supreme Court will decide itself. Speaking to the journalists at the residence of Pakistan Peoples’ Party (PPP) senior leader Khursheed Shah, the JUI-F chief said that the proceedings of the case regarding COAS General Bajwa’s extension is in the court and the court will decide and give its final decision. “There should be no debate or comment on the matter when the issue is being heard in court,” he added. Maulana Fazlur Rehman mentioned that the current rulers don’t know how to rule and free and fair elections are ‘need of the hour’ now. “New elections are the only way out of this mess,” he added. He said NAB is being used for politics. He said Khursheed Shah is sick and this is a critical situation. He is in NAB custody in a corruption and assets beyond means case. Fazl condemned this kind of accountability and said they don’t accept it. On the other hand, announcing a short verdict, the Supreme Court has extended extension of the army chief’s tenure for six month.
