Boat tragedy: Divers rescue 11 people, recover three bodies

HARIPUR (92 News) – As many as 11 people were rescued while three others saved after a boat capsized in an area 9km away from Tarbela Dam. According to the Inter-Services Public Relations, 24 divers of the SSG participated in the rescue operation. The boat was carrying 35 passengers, including women and children, when the boat capsized. The rescue operation has been stopped due to darkness. The rescue staff is facing difficulties due to fast flow of water and treacherous paths in the area.
