GADANI (92 News) – The bodies of two missing minors were recovered from Gadani beach after a rescue operation on Saturday morning. The tragedy took place on Friday when seven of a family drowned, while bodies of four women have been recovered. A girl was rescued by local people. The search and rescue operation to look for two missing children was discontinued at sundown yesterday. Today, the missing bodies of two minors recovered after a search and rescue operation. The family hailed from Karachi’s Lyari area and had gone to Gadani on a picnic. The operation is underway to recover two missing children. At least, 40 people have so far drowned in sea this year. Drowning incidents have increased over the period of one year. Last week, two young men drowned at Karachi’s Sandspit beach. According to police, the drowned youths — who were residents of North Nazimabad — were identified as Osama, 22, and Faraz, 19. The two, along with five other friends, had gone to the beach to enjoy the second day of Eid-ul-Fitr.
