ISLAMABAD (92 News) – Following the decisions made by the National Security Committee (NSC), the government has completely sealed the border with Afghanistan and Iran to control the spread of coronavirus. A relief camp has been established for passengers at Pak-Afghan border. Hundreds of devotees, including women and children, have been shifted to Labour Colony Quarantine. The particulars of all these devotees have been recorded. They will undergo tests and will be allowed to leave for their houses after staying at quarantine for a stipulated period. The Islamabad High Court (IHC) has stopped employees to mark the attendance through the biometric system. The offices of the Sindh High Court (SHC) have been declared handshake-free zone. Five airports, including Sialkot, Faisalabad, Multan, Peshawar and Quetta, have been closed for foreign flights. However, the domestic operation is as usual at the said airports. The international flights are only landing at Lahore, Islamabad and Karachi. All marriage halls and cinemas have also been closed. All the remaining PSL matches will be held in empty stadiums. All educational institutions remained closed on Saturday across the country. On the other hand, the chief ministers of Punjab and Sindh have handed over their helicopters to the Health Department. Special counters have been established for protection against coronavirus.
