Boxer Amir Khan to distribute ration among 10,000 Pakistani families

LONDON (92 News) – British boxer of Pakistan origin Amir Khan has announced to distribute ration among 10,000 Pakistani families due to the coronavirus (COVID-19) lockdown. Amir wrote, “Seeing everyone suffer in Pakistan with food shortage due to the corona virus I have made bags which contain rice, flour, daal, chick peas, juices, water, powder milk, bars of soap.” “I would like to thank the Pakistan Army for helping us distributing the bags. He also offered to use his Islamabad boxing academy as a quarantine for the coronavirus patients. On the other hand, Amir Khan had offered to give his 60,000 square foot four storeyed building to help people affected by the coronavirus in Britain. The boxer took to Instagram and shared a photo with the same building at the back and wrote, "I am aware of how difficult it is for the public to get a hospital bed in this tragic time." He added, "I am prepared to give my 60,000 square foot 4 story building which is due to be a wedding hall and retail outlet to help people affected by the coronavirus.”
