Boy dies as 453 held for flouting ban on kite-flying

FAISALABAD (92 News) – A nine-year-old boy died while 453 people were arrested for flouting the ban on kite-flying in the city. Farid Khan, a resident of Douglaspura, was electrocuted while looting a kite. Several people were injured by firing and stray kite string. The police have registered 270 cases. Meanwhile, the people arrested on Basant Night remained busy in securing bail.
