Boy, girl murdered for honour in Kaghan

KAGHAN (92 News) – A boy and girl were murdered for honour in Kaghan’s Jaraid area on Tuesday. Amir and Laiba Shahid, both residents of Patian, wanted to contract the marriage of their choice. However, parents of both of them opposed the proposal. On the day of the incident, both of them were found dead in a room. After getting information, Kaghan SHO Wajid Khan reached the spot and took the bodies into custody. A case has been registered against five people, including parents of the boy and the girl. The police said that they suspected the involvement of their parents when they refused to register the case. Kaghan SHO Wajid Khan said that they had arrested three accused and recovered the weapon from them. He said that further investigations were underway.
