Boy & girl video scandal: Umsan Mirza among five accused awarded life term

ISLAMABAD (92 News) - Additional Sessions Judge Atta Rabbani awarded life term to five accused, including main culprit Usman Mirza, in the boy and girl video scandal in E-11 Sector on Friday.

The other accused include Mohib Bangash, Idras Qayyum Butt, Hafiz Attaur Rehman and Farhan Shaheen. However, Umar Bilal and Rehan were acquitted.

The trial continued for over five months and over 21 witnesses were cross-examined.

On January 11, the victim couple detracted from their statement. Later, the federal government pursued the case.

The Golara police had registered a case against the accused on the complaint of the victim boy and girl.
