British Deputy High Commissioner visits PSX

KARACHI (92 News) – British Deputy High Commissioner Belinda Lewis has on Friday visited Pakistan Stock Exchange (PSX) and started the day’s activities by ringing the opening bell. On the occasion, she said that Islamic Financing is developing at a rate of 11% per annum in which the British investors have taken keen interest, adding that Pakistan’s economy is developing considerably. The Deputy High Commissioner said that the Pakistani government is also interested in promoting Islamic Finance. She said that Finance Minister Ishaq Dar has also met a delegation of British investors to help promote bilateral relations. “The confidence of investors on Pakistan’s economy has increased which is a positive step,” she added.
