British-Pakistani actor fired for tweets against Indian atrocities in IHK

LONDON (92 News) – Pakistan-born British actor Marc Anwar has been fired from the British show for a racist rant against Indians on social media. Pakistani-born Marc Anwar, 45 was fired from a long-running British soap opera ‘Coronation Street’, for his tweets over Indian atrocities in the Occupies Kashmir. His comments came days after an attack on an Indian army base in Kashmir which killed 18 soldiers. India claimed Pakistan was behind the attack, but Pakistan has denied it. On his account, he also wrote: ‘Why the [expletive] do Pakistani artists want to work in [expletive] India? Do you love money so much?” He followed that up by tweeting an image of a clenched fist before adding: “Ban #India movies in #PakistanisLeaveIndia. [Expletive].” In one post he targets Indian Prime Minister Narendra Modi and Pakistan Prime Minister Nawaz Sharif. In another post, he slammed India and called on Pakistanis to leave it. On Saturday, the actor deleted two of his most offensive tweets, which caused widespread shock.
