ISLAMABAD (92 News) – Federal Interior Minister Chaudhry Nisar Ali Khan while criticizing the opposition has said that those who broke the records of corruption are starting a campaign against corruption. Addressing a ceremony in Chakri near Islamabad on Saturday, Nisar said, “People who don’t have anything on their side are bringing a revolution.” The interior minister said that he responds to Indian Prime Minister Narendra Modi when he speaks against Pakistan. “I made Modi’s interior minister run out of the country,” he said. Nisar further said that he has not done anything in his political career over which he should feel embarrassed. He went on to say that the speeches of opposition do not affect him but he feels sad over their false statements. Nisar said that development of backward areas is the top priority of the incumbent Government.
He said the government is putting forth best efforts to honor the confidence reposed by the people. He said in Chakri and other areas adjoining it there were no roads and bridges since the British left sub continent but today the area has eleven bridges and well developed road network. The minister said during the last three years electricity supply, water supply schemes, roads network and health and medical facilities in the area were ensured. He said the foundation of development is laid by leaders having pain for the masses.
