Budget 2021-22 to be presented tomorrow, Rs 900 billion allocated for development

ISLAMABAD (92 News) – Finance Minister Shaukat Tareen will present the budget for the next fiscal year 2021-22.

According to the budget documents, an amount of Rs 900 billion has been allocated for development. The federal ministries will be given Rs 672 billion for development.

Moreover, a development budget of Rs 4.29 billion will be given to Aviation Division, Rs 2.56 billion to the Cabinet Division, Rs 14 billion to Climate Change, Rs 300 million to Commerce Division, Rs 9 billion to Education and Training and Rs 94 billion to the Finance Division.

On the other hand, a development budget of Rs 37 billion will be given to Higher Education Commission, Rs 14.94 billion to Housing and Constructions, Rs 220 million to Human Rights Ministry, Rs 3 billion to Indsutry and Production Ministry, Rs 1.84 billion to Information Ministry and Rs 8 billion to Information Technology Ministry, Rs 2.56 billion to Inter-Provincial Coordination, Rs 22 billion to Interior Ministry, Rs 61 billion to Gilgit Baltistan and Kashmir Affairs Ministry, Rs six billion to Law and Justice Miinstry, Rs 4.95 billion to Shipping and Maritime Ministry, Rs 33 million to Anti-Narcotics Ministry, Rs 12 billion to Food Protection, Rs 22.82 billion to National Health Services, Rs 40.59 million to National Heritage and Culture, Rs 3.70 billion to Petroleum Disvision, Rs 99.25 billion to Planning Ministry, Rs 110.89 million Social Protection, Rs 30 billion to Railway Division, Rs 8.11 billion to Science and Technology, Rs 110 billion to Water Resources, Rs 113.95 billion to the NHA, Rs 53 to PEPCO and Rs 60 billion to Emergenies.
