Budget is fake if pocket of poor people is empty: Shehbaz Sharif
ISLAMABAD (92 News) – Opposition Leader in the National Assembly Shehbaz Sharif has said that the budget is fake if the pocket of poor masses is empty.
Expressing his views on the Budget 2021-22 in the House on Thursday, he said that the recent legislation is not in accordance with the law and the constitution. "Our voice was bulldozed when we raised the voice. We cannot guess the decrepit condition of the people during these three years," he maintained.
Shehbaz Sharif said that the new budget would further deteriorate economy. "Over 20 million people have gone below the poverty line," he said.
He said that several new taxes had been imposed and the country had been destroyed by inflation. "I am detained by the NAB-Niazi nexus whenever I speak. I reiterate that the person seeking something can only get dictation and he cannot make a decision," he said.
