Finance Minister Ishaq Dar to preside over NEC meeting due to PM absence

ISLAMABAD (92 News) – The budget process is likely to be affected by the operation of Prime Minister Nawaz Sharif. Sources said that the prime minister would not be able to preside over a meeting of the National Economic Council on May 30. Owing to absence of the prime minister, Finance Minister Ishaq Dar will preside over the NEC meeting. The NEC will approve the important targets in the next budget. The prime minister will not be able to participate in the budget session in the parliament.
