Business activities resume as Pak-Afghan tension diminishes at Torkham Border

PESHAWAR (92 News) – Business activities have resumed at Torkham Border after tension between Pakistan and Afghanistan reduced on Saturday. Firing has almost ended at the border. Vehicles could be seen going and coming towards on both sides of the border. A ban has been imposed on entry of Afghan nationals without documents. Owing to Afghan aggression, the border remained closed for five days. Meanwhile, an Afghan delegation led by Hikmat Karzai will reach Islamabad on June 20. A spokesman for the Foreign Office said that the dialogues would promote peace in both countries.
