Cabinet approves implementation of additional customs duties, regulatory duties

ISLAMABAD (92 News) - The federal cabinet meeting under the chair of Prime Minister (PM) Imran Khan approved implementation of additional customs duties and regulatory duties.

The implementation report on the decisions taken in the previous meetings was presented in the federal cabinet meeting. The cabinet was briefed on the move by the G20 countries to suspend debt repayment.

The federal cabinet also approved the retail price of Convadia vaccine, imposition of additional customs duties and regulatory duties, Civil Aviation Authority and Airport Authority Ordinance, while the appointment of SECP auditors and the appointment of EOBI chairman on contract, re-appointment of the Bureau of Statistics member support service and appointment of Sehar Zarin in PEMRA Council of Complaints Lahore was postponed for the financial year 2021.

The cabinet meeting approved amendments to the Islamabad Capital Territory Authority Act, Islamabad Capital Territory Maintenance of Public Order Act 2019, Islamabad Capital Territory Security of Establishment Act and the establishment of Federal Government Property Management Authority. The decisions of the last three meetings of the Cabinet Committee on Energy and the decisions of the Cabinet Committee on Institutional Reforms were also ratified.
